On 16 June 2026, Fortune Oil Limited （Fortune Oil ）Chief Executive Officer Mme. Li Ching was invited to Qingdao, Shandong Province, to participate in the 7th Qingdao Multinationals Summit, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Shandong Province. The summit themed "Multinationals and China: Advancing with the 15th Five-Year Plan towards Innovation and a Shared Future". Mr. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Vice President Han Zheng pointed out that China has been unswervingly advancing high-quality development and expanding high-standard opening-up. This has not only served as a stabilizer and driving force for global economic growth, but also provided a broad stage for multinational corporations worldwide. Embarking on the new journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China has been standing ready to deepen cooperation with multinational corporations. We would work together to build a complete industrial cooperation ecosystem, pool efforts to foster emerging industrial tracks including innovation-driven growth and the digital economy, jointly explore the vast new blue ocean of green and low-carbon development, continuously expand the circle of friends for economic and trade cooperation, and jointly paint a promising picture of mutually beneficial win-win results and coordinated development.

During the summit, Mme. Li Ching met and exchanged views with Mr. Zhai Jun, Secretary of Zaozhuang Municipal Party Committee, and Mr. Zhang Longjiang, Vice Mayor of Zaozhuang. Secretary Zhai Jun extended a warm welcome to Fortune Oil to invest in Zaozhuang, supporting the city in carbon reduction, expanding export channels for green energy products, and fostering new growth drivers for the regional economy. He mentioned that the municipal Party committee and government have designated 2026 as the "Year of Serving Enterprises". All functional departments would coordinate closely to resolve difficulties for enterprises and safeguard their steady development. Mme. Li Ching stated that as a Hong Kong enterprise with deep affection for the motherland and Hong Kong, Fortune Oil has been engaged in investment and operation of mainland energy infrastructure and international trading for nearly four decades. Leveraging Hong Kong’s unique strengths as an international hub for finance, shipping and trade, Fortune Oil has been actively implementing the country’s development concepts of new productive forces, green transition and the "Dual Carbon" goals for the new era. It has been actively exploring cooperation paths to jointly invest in and operate clean energy projects together with domestic partners.

Taking the opportunity of attending the summit, Mme. Li Ching also led Fortune Oil team to pay visits to relevant government departments and conducted field inspections and exchanges with a number of local enterprises in Shandong Province. Centering on deep participation in the country’s layout of the green energy industry and boosting high-quality development of regional economy, they held in-depth exchanges with all parties to jointly explore win-win cooperation opportunities for green development.
