The Zhanjiang Base Project Operated by China National Aviation Fuel Group Limited (“CNAF”) Southern Storage and Transportation Company Limited (“SSTC”)
CNAF SSTC ("SSTC") was established in March 2010. It was restructured into a joint venture co-founded by Fortune Tianyuan Petrochemical Co., Ltd and CNAF Logistics Co., Ltd in December 2020, undertaking the construction and operation management of the Zhanjiang Base Project.
The Zhanjiang Base Project, with a total investment of nearly RMB 1.5 billion, is located in Lingang Industrial Park, Xiashan District, Zhanjiang City, covering an area of 256,000 square meters. The project planning is divided into crude oil tank area, refined oil and chemical product tank areas, and supporting public utilities, etc. The Zhanjiang Base Project aims to rely on the industrial backgrounds of both shareholders, give full play to the joint venture's advantages in services such as transit storage and transportation, bonded operations, export supervision, and futures delivery in the fields of crude oil, refined oil (gasoline, diesel), aviation kerosene, and chemical products, and provide modern petroleum and petrochemical product storage and logistics services to the markets in South China and the southwest hinterland.
The Zhanjiang Base Project officially commenced construction on 29 December 2021. Under the outstanding leadership of SSTC management team, and through the united efforts and dedicated contributions of all employees and construction units, the first-phase project was fully completed and put into operation on 16 February 2025.
Looking to the future, SSTC will uphold the core principle of "Innovation, Cooperation, Mutual Benefit and Win-Win Success", deepen strategic synergy with all partners, and actively expand diversified cooperation scenarios and innovative models. Supported by an all-weather response mechanism and a full-process precise operation system, it will provide customers with customized comprehensive solutions covering transshipment storage and transportation, bonded services, futures delivery and other fields, and create a "three-dimensional interconnection, efficient and convenient" one-stop service ecosystem. SSTC will also rely on the geographical advantages and resource endowments of Zhanjiang Port to focus on building a four-in-one service ecosystem of "storage + logistics + trade + finance" to form an industrial pattern of full-chain collaborative development. This strategic layout will not only enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise and promote high-quality and sustainable development, but also deeply integrate into the overall situation of regional economic development, and contribute SSTC's wisdom and strength to the transformation and upgrading of the industry and the prosperity of the local economy.
