The Grand Opening Ceremony of the First Phase of the Zhanjiang Base Project of China National Aviation Fuel Group Limited (“CNAF”) Southern Storage and Transportation Company Limited (“SSTC”) Was Held

In the morning of 12 March 2025, the opening ceremony of the first phase of the Zhanjiang Base project of CNAF SSTC was grandly held in Lingang Industrial Park, Xiashan District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. Relevant leaders from Xiashan District government authorities, representatives of project construction units, important business partners, representatives of shareholder parties, and all SSTC employees gathered together to jointly witness this important moment of milestone significance.
As the celebration kicked off, eight majestic lion dancers made a spectacular appearance. Their every dynamic movement symbolizes that on the journey of future development, SSTC will, with fearless courage, agile wisdom, and the united strength of all its members, overcome all obstacles, move forward without hesitation, and unswervingly strive towards higher and more distant goals, and continuously create remarkable achievements.
Mr. Zheng Changman, GM of SSTC delivered the welcome speech. He extended the warmest welcome to the government leaders, the project construction parties, business partners, and guests from all sectors who attended the celebration. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the strong support that SSTC has received from governments at all levels over a long period of time, as well as for the arduous efforts made by all the participating construction units and all employees during the project construction period.
Mr. Li Rongze, the Executive Deputy Head of Xiashan District Government, congratulated on the operation of the project. He pointed out that the commissioning of the Zhanjiang Base Project would inject new and strong impetus into the economic development of Zhanjiang and even the entire western Guangdong region. The government will, as always, provide support and services for the development of enterprises, fully promote the steady growth of enterprises, achieve a good situation of government-enterprise progress hand in hand, mutual benefit and win-win, and work together to promote the high-quality development of the regional economy.
On behalf of Fortune Oil Limited （Fortune Oil ）, the controlling shareholder of SSTC, Fortune Oil Chief Executive Officer Mme. Li Ching delivered an important speech with the theme of "Joining Hands to Embark on a New Journey and Creating a Winning Future with Intelligence". Mme. Li affectionately recalled the development history of SSTC, highly praised the enthusiastic support given by governments at all levels to SSTC over the years, and expressed her sincere respect and gratitude to all the participating construction units and SSTC team that have worked hard on the project construction. On this new starting point, Mme. Li placed high expectations on SSTC and proposed to precisely set the course for the company's future development with the "Three Insistences": Firstly, insist on safe development and firmly establish the bottom line of safety; Secondly, adhere to the principle of customer first and build a win-win cooperation ecosystem; Thirdly, adhere to innovative development, leverage AI intelligence to open up a brand-new future, and empower the development of the enterprise with technology. Mme. Li hoped that SSTC management would lead this young team to build SSTC into a flag in the industry. This flag will demonstrate the most advanced market-oriented awareness, uphold the development concept of innovation and change, adhere to the operation principles of safety and efficiency, and at the same time establish an incentive mechanism that meets the needs of the market, and continuously inject new impetus into the long-term development of the enterprise. Finally, Mme. Li sincerely wished that SSTC would realize its grand ambitions and continuously achieve remarkable success on the new journey. She also earnestly hoped that friends from all walks of life could continue to pay attention to and actively participate in the future construction and development of SSTC, working hand in hand to create a more brilliant tomorrow.
Leaders from a number of enterprises, including CNAF Logistics Co., Ltd., Zhanjiang Port (Group) Co., Ltd., and Maoming Tianyuan Petrochemical Co., Ltd., also successively delivered speeches at the ceremony, expressing their vision of closely collaborating with SSTC and working hand in hand to create a bright future.
As the ceremony was approaching to its end, SSTC Chairman Mr. Gao Yimin, delivered a concluding speech. He once again extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the leaders and guests present at the ceremony, expressing his appreciation for their long-term strong support and care for SSTC. Looking ahead to future development plan, Chairman Gao solemnly stated that SSTC would take this commissioning and operation as a new starting point. It would firmly uphold the advanced concepts of innovation, cooperation, and win-win success, constantly carry out self-renovation, and enhance its core competitiveness. In the future development process, SSTC would further strengthen in-depth collaboration with all partners, actively explore more cooperation opportunities and models, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win success. SSTC would also contribute more its wisdom and strength to promote the prosperity and development of the industry and the regional economy, and move forward bravely towards higher and more distant goals with fearless courage and firm belief.
Amid the exciting countdown, the Putting Start Ceremony was held. Immediately afterwards, the promotional video on the large screen unfolded slowly, vividly presenting the development history and future blueprint of SSTC . In the stirring melody of the music, the opening ceremony came to a successful conclusion in a warm and jubilant atmosphere, giving people with boundless anticipation for the bright future of SSTC.
