Chairman Daniel Tatjung CHIU of Fortune Oil Limited Attended China Gas FY 2025 Annual Conference and Delivered Speech

On 16 April 2025, China Gas FY 2025 Annual Conference was grandly held in the Dream Hall of the China Gas Headquarters Building in Shenzhen. With the theme of "Wisdom is a Must, Embarking on a New Course towards a Technology Group!" ,  the conference reviewed the arduous journey in FY 2024 and looked ahead to the development blueprint of FY 2025. Mr. LIU Minghui, Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of China Gas Group, and Mr. HUANG Yong, Executive Director and CEO of China Gas Group, led all members of the board of directors, management team and all employees to attend the conference both on-site and online. In his opening speech, Chairman LIU emphasized that in the new year, all China Gas employees need to devote themselves to the transformation and construction of a technology group with firm belief and full enthusiasm, so as to promote the long-term development of the enterprise. 

As a major shareholder of China Gas, Chairman Daniel Tatjung CHIU of Fortune Oil Limited, delivered a speech at the conference. Chairman CHIU highly praised the  outstanding contributions made by China Gas people for the well-being of the people and the promotion of green development in the highly challenging business environment in FY 2024. Chairman CHIU pointed out: "Under the strong leadership of the board of directors and management team led by Chairman LIU Minghui, China Gas people adhered to  core business and innovation, took proactive actions, and achieved new business development on the journey of promoting green, low-carbon, sustainable and high-quality development. As the main force of the nation’s  " gas replacing coal " project, China Gas people bravely undertook the national mission, and through the “mutual trust and cooperation mechanism” between the government and the enterprise to safeguard people's livelihood, ensured a safe, clean and warm winter for nearly 8 million gas users in the "gas replacing coal" covered areas across the country during the cold winter. China Gas has been actively creating a green and low-carbon comprehensive energy service ecosystem for its customers, new breakthroughs and developments have been achieved in business segments such as value-added services and comprehensive energy beyond its main natural gas business. China Gas has invested a large amount of resources to improve and strengthen its safety production management system, laying a solid foundation for the stable development of all business operations within the group. With its own strength, China Gas has won numerous honors in international and domestic evaluation competitions along with many well-known domestic and foreign enterprises in the industry. Looking ahead to FY 2025, Chairman CHIU emphasized that transformation led by technology is the only way for the survival and development of China Gas. He hopes that China Gas people will seize the historical opportunities brought by AI technology and the national "New Infrastructure Construction" policy, integrate AI into the strategic planning of the company's development and operation, and take the advantage of AI to achieve structural reorganization, improve quality and efficiency, carry out intelligent transformation, and pursue a future of technology. Safety is the foundation for the survival and development of China Gas Group. The safety production system with a fully embedded AI engine will safeguard the high-quality development of the Group. Chairman CHIU firmly believes that China Gas will surely seize this historical opportunity, by leveraging AI, expand and strengthen its main natural gas business, actively explore new development spaces, enhance its management system, corporate culture construction and safety risk control mechanism, and open up a new realm for the traditional gas industry in the era of new technology. Chairman CHIU wishes that China Gas will live up to the times, forge ahead bravely and achieve new glories on the journey of transformation.
